Having a doula means having someone in your corner — someone who knows how birth works, how the system works, and how to support you through it all.
Whether you’re planning a home birth, hospital birth or caesarean, I’ll help you prepare in a way that’s grounded, realistic and shaped around your needs.
When the big day comes, I’m there for you and your birth partner — offering calm, consistent support from start to finish.
You’ll also get a space on one of CubCare’s antenatal courses so you can feel fully informed at every stage, and I can join you at key antenatal appointments if it would help you feel more confident or supported.
Doula support includes:
• Antenatal prep sessions tailored to your birth preferences and questions
• A place on a CubCare Antenatal Course of your choice (Antenatal Course or Refresher Antenatal Course)
• On-call from 38 weeks (or earlier for planned births)
• In-person support throughout labour and birth
• A postnatal visit to reflect, check in and help you settle into the early days

MY APPROACH
My unique approach takes the evidence for different pregnancy and parenting techniques to deliver a holistic overview so you can navigate the journey with confidence in yourself.
Every family is unique, and everybody’s parenting journey is individual. There is certainly no one size fits all.
I want you to feel confident and empowered welcoming your baby into the world and parenting them. I’ll help you link the birthing process to your body so you can understand how preparing in pregnancy can really help in the birthing room. And I'll help you understand how you can work with baby's development, and your own personal needs.
I offer evidence based education to allow you to make informed and confident decisions for your family.
My courses have been developed through extensive training and experience to bring you the very best of birth preparation.
Each antenatal course combines body awareness with pregnancy yoga and pelvis biomechanics, mind and body connection with hypnobirthing and evidence based antenatal education.
I’ve done Jilly’s birthing class with both my babies and I can honestly say I would recommend the classes to everyone. Both my children were induced and I was still able to have the calm controlled birth that I’d hoped for. The knowledge and understanding you get of the labour process is so empowering and the breathing and relaxation is just amazing. Thank you Jilly!
- Meira, Antenatal Course and Pregnancy Yoga
Just wanted to say a HUGE thank you for all you taught myself and my partner in our classes! I honestly wouldn’t of been able to get through it without the breathing techniques we learnt! And we both felt so in control as we knew all the info and our options!! Thank you again!
- Emily, Antenatal Course and Pregnancy Yoga
Jilly, thank you so much for everything you taught during our Antenatal Course. It honestly made a huge difference to how positive my birth was. My partner was so supportive and prepared thanks to the parent classes. I felt completely in control for the entire 26 hour labour – I just felt so calm, the breaths were incredible and the consultant commented on how she couldn’t believe I’d refused an epidural. I felt confident enough to question and on occasion challenge recommendations of the midwives so that the birth ended up being as natural as possible! A very positive experience to look back on. Thank you!!
